What a year it has been! 2025 was defined by fearless creativity, exciting projects, and remarkable transformations. It’s always rewarding to see months of planning, sourcing, and hard work come together, culminating in spaces that truly change how our clients live. This year pushed us to further expand our design skills, embrace new color palettes, and deliver results that were both beautiful and highly functional.
In this retrospective post, we’re pulling back the curtain on five of our projects from the year, illustrating the value of the full interior design process. We'll show you exactly how a vague idea or frustrating problem evolves from a before, to a render, to reality!
A Luxury Primary Bedroom Suite
For this first project, the clients were looking to renovate their primary bedroom suite. Their current bedroom and bathroom not only felt dated but also lacked proper lighting, a functional layout, and didn't match their overall aesthetic.
Where We Started:
The clients wanted their bathroom to feel like a spa, with a soaking tub and a steam shower. We wanted to completely change the layout to a more functional footprint, and refreshed the materials to feel clean and modern. In their bedroom, we created a bedroom that had a luxury hospitality feel to the design, included a statement wood veneer wallpaper, upscale furnishings, and soft plush bedding for an elevated experience.

A Warm and Earthy First Floor Renovation
These clients were facing a dilemma of creating a warmer feel through their newly constructed home. They had a grand fireplace and vaulted ceiling in their living room, a blank wall in their dining room, but overall it felt cold, and they wanted to add layers of visual interest, warmth and depth that was more reflective of their personal aethetic.
Before:
To help make the living room feel more complete, we proposed built-ins around the fireplace, decorative molding to provide architectural interest, and a new color palette and furnishings in warm, earthy tones like terra cotta and deep green.
We also selected a new lighting for visual interest and more ambient lighting, and added a botanical wallcovering in dining area with botanical wallpaper and a coordinating chandelier!

Let's Start Over - In Color!
Our clients had spent years with a kitchen with a cramped layout, ineffective ventilation, and dated finishes. Their current kitchen lacked storage and usable counterspace, and with their washer and dryer located right off the kitchen, we needed to find a way to make everything more functional, add more storage, but they also knew they wanted color!
We started the design knowing that she wanted to incorporate a fun teal color into the kitchen, but without overwhelming the design. A combination of a bold teal cabinetry color, coupled with a playfully printed tile make for the beginning of a beautiful design.
Before:
We proposed taking advantage of their unused dining room and creating an open concept kitchen where the family can still gather. We also closed off an entrance to be able to add more functional pantry space and cabinetry.
Custom cabinetry allowed for optimal storage in their pantry, as well as hidden doors in their laundry area for appliances hidden in plain sight.

A Colorful Primary Bedroom
This bedroom was one of the favorites around our studio this year - it's still a work in progress, but I love where it's going! This client was looking for ways to bring color, pattern, and interest into her new home. She had some core pieces, and loves combinations of warm and cool color palettes, but needed help in combining everything into a cohesive result.
Before:
In the bedroom, we anchored the design with this teal block print paper and multicolored rug. We then brought out even more color in the bold green fabric of the chair & ottoman, and the coral colored custom bench with a beaded trim. The drapery fabric has a fantastic combination of teal, coral, and chartruse that will bring all of these elements together.
And with a color palette as fun as this one, we needed some lighting to complement it. We brought in a whimsical element with an olive-leaf chandelier and pheasant table lamps that provide beautiful ambient lighting.

A Small Kitchen Meets Big Entertaining
This client is an entertainer at heart, but didn't have the kitchen to meet those needs. This kitchen was dated, lacked sufficient storage, and was closed off to the rest of the house, making entertaining a challenge instead of a joy.
Before:
We opened up the wall separating the kitchen and dining room, forming an island and allowing in more natural ligthing into the kitchen area, and providing new countertop seating for guests while she hosts!
New cabinetry extends to the ceiling for maximum storage and a beautiful quartz backsplash provides a seamless design, and adds a focus point.

Here's how it's going!
Every project starts with a conversation about what our clients are dreaming about. They often know the end result that they're hoping for, but are unsure of how to get there.
