I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and I’ve always been deeply proud of my hometown's heritage and transformation. Just as our city evolved from its steel roots into a modern hub for technology and healthcare, my own professional journey followed a similar path of reinvention. I spent my first career in the world of healthcare tech, but my heart was always pulled toward the art of the home.

I launched my firm from my home, and before long, my house was filled with wallpaper and tile samples—a clear sign that my passion had outgrown its space and was ready to become the studio and retail shop it is today.

 

In 2024, I opened Jennifer Janeway Home, our studio and retail space, to serve as a tactile home base for our design process. Opening the studio has allowed us to connect with our clients on a deeper level, giving them a place to touch the fabrics, sit in the furniture, and experience firsthand how we blend classic design with vivid, colorful soul. It's more than a shop, it's a living portfolio where we can showcase the colourful and classic aesthetic we love.
