This existing living room was dark and dated, and was in need of a bright transformation. When we first saw the space, we knew the fireplace area could use some additional built-in cabinetry, so we added creamy-hued base cabinets, coupled with floating shelves to balance the room.

Our color palette inspiration came from a delicate blue and white drapery fabric that was love at first sight. We created a furnishings plan that used tailored pieces in performance fabrics that are both durable and beautiful. We layered a custom area rug that fits the room perfectly, and an antique secretariat desk from our client to blend old and new together.

The result is a classic Living Room design, built for both daily life and entertaining, with pieces that will stand the test of time.
