La dolce vita, brought home. 🍋💙 🇮🇹

While we were creating the concept for this outdoor space, our clients told us about their recent trip to Italy - one of their favorite experiences ever. They had brought back a custom painted table that incorporated bold yellows and cobalt blues, and we used that as our jumping off point for their backyard (because who doesn't need a little italian riviera energy in their home?)

We designed this space to feel relaxed, vibrant, and full of charm. From the striped umbrellas to the vibrant lemon pillows and custom loungers - finished with the sweetest yellow welt detail - every piece was chosen to feel playful, polished, and reminiscent of their travels overseas.

The result is a backyard that feels like an escape — layered with personality, meaningful details, and just the right amount of summer nostalgia.

Design is always at its best when it tells a personal story. 💚

When @tablemagazine_westernpa asks you to create an inspired interiors flatly, you always say Yes! 🙌

My jumping off point for this design was a new @phillipjeffriesltd wallcovering called “Fable.” Made from a wood veneer, it has a vibrant set of colors, including orange and navy, while the majestic cranes add a touch of whimsy.

From there, I added a collection of fabrics, wall coverings, and other vintage finds to create an energetic palette that I could easily envision in a home.

As my boys would say…. LETS GO! Our first (half) day started with a tour in a proper black cab. We saw the building where Churchill lived (more on him tomorrow), St. Paul’s, and visited the Leake Street arches for some cool street art - brilliant! We may or may not have tagged it ourselves 😉 Sunday roast for dinner, and then off to a long rest…

From a house purchased during COVID with builder-basic finishes… to a home that finally feels like them. ✨

This family purchased their home during the pandemic, when sourcing furniture was nearly impossible. What started as a beautiful space without soul became an opportunity to create something truly special—layer by layer.

We leaned into warmth from the ground up: adding architectural character with custom millwork, thoughtful lighting, and built-in cabinetry and shelving to give the home a sense of permanence and purpose. Then came the furnishings—carefully curated to bring comfort, function, and a lived-in ease.

The palette tells the story: a rich, earthy blend of terra-cotta and green that wraps the home in warmth and makes every space feel inviting, relaxed, and connected.

Proof that with the right vision (and a little patience), a house can become the coziest kind of home. 🤍

This serene bedroom design has been waiting quietly for it’s moment. ✨ It was intentionally designed to be calm, layered, and quietly elegant—a place to begin and end each day feeling grounded. Soft textures, tailored details, and a palette that whispers rather than shouts.

But what you don’t see here is the journey it took to get to this moment… In the middle of construction, the unthinkable happened—a lightning strike caused a fire, and the roof and electrical system in their home was severely damaged. What followed was months of pause and remediation. Plans were put on hold, timelines stretched, and patience was tested in every possible way.

And yet—here we are.

Today is photoshoot day. The light is pouring in, every detail is in place, and this room finally gets to be what it was always meant to be: a sanctuary.

Moments like this feel even more meaningful knowing what it took to get here. Design is never just about the finished space—it’s about the resilience, the process, and the people behind it.

A day (ok, two) of cooking, tablescaping, and spending time with family. My oldest is becoming quite the sous chef, and this was the first year that he wanted to participate in the prep, which I was grateful for!

I took a little design inspiration from one of our projects this year, and used a navy and orange palette this year. I loved the contrasting yet warm colors … I had to improvise a bit when my usual stop at TJs for flowers yielded zero results. A stop at Whole Foods and some snips from my beauty berry bushes outside made for a vibrant arrangement.

The turkey was done a little early, but, all in all, a perfect evening with family. 💚🍽

In Progress, but already so good! ✨

There’s something I love about moments like this — when the wallpaper is freshly installed, the blue tape is still on, and you can feel the transformation taking shape.

This gorgeous botanical print is bringing so much life and personality to our client’s entryway — a cheerful welcome every time they walk through the door. We also removed the paper (quite the feat in this historic home!) in the dining room, and painted it in a blue hue that perfectly coordinates with the paper!

Can’t wait to share the final reveal soon!

A day dedicated to celebrating my favorite kitties?! Yes please! Cookie (the grey tabby) and Muffin (the tortie) joined our family 5 months ago. They didn’t know each other at first, but soon became best friends…. And part of the family! 💚

A day at the Tower of London, seeing the Crown Jewels, strolling through St James Park, a view of Buckingham Palace, lunch at the Sky Garden, a quick visit to the Tate Modern, dinner in Covent Garden, all whilst being sure to “mind the gap” on the tube 😉

(Oh, and we saw the queens’ motorcade leaving the palace, but I wasn’t quick enough to capture it!)

I hope I can shake this accent by the time I come home….

A day at the Chelsea Harbour Design Center, beautiful showrooms and lovely part of the city. Stopped for a walk and hot chocolate in Hyde Park. Summer falling into autumn, and I can feel the seasons shifting here.

Another day at #decorex2025! Saw several wallpaper lines and lampshades that I’d love to use in projects, and bring to the Shop!
Headed off to #pimlicoroad for a stroll through some amazing design shops and studios, then stopped at Harrods for a look. The food hall was unlike anything I’ve ever seen…. Thousands of square feet of the most amazing things in chocolate, cheese, pastry, tea, and condiments, plus so many take away options.

Day 1 in London. Beautiful city, though I’ve only seen a glimpse of it. Toured the V&A museum, had a delightful Thai dinner, and didn’t get lost on the tube 👍

We're working on a bedroom project, and our client really loved combinations of colors that are "across" from each other on the color wheel - in this case, she shared inspiration pictures with a lot of teal, orange and bits of chartruse.

As part of our Conceptual Design process, we started with a render to really dial in on the colors - what she liked, what she didn't. We took her feedback, and incorporated it into our design selections presentation, and by the time we were done, our amazing client was (dare I say?) giddy with excitement!

This flatlay of the materials incoporates an exclectic mix of patterns - florals and botanicals mixed with lush fabrics and trims and a block print-inspired wallcovering —all layered with intention. It's an organic mix that doesn't come off as too sweet due to the mix of other elements.

Tomorrow, we'll show you the renders of what's going to be an amazing bedroom.
